The semi-annual meeting of GLBA took place between 17-18 September 2015 in Moscow. There was again an intense but at the same time enjoyable agenda for the members.

In the first day, all of the GLBA members met at the design office of the Depot WPF - GLBA Member in Russia - to evaluate the last six months’ progress of GLBA, exchange experiences about the joint packaging design projects and discuss the strategies for the future. In the second day, a conference was held at Moscow Art Cafe for the marketing teams from FMCG sector leaders in Russia including Nestle, Unilever and Heineken. Each member shared their local packaging trends covering seven different cities and regions of the World: Sao Paulo and South America, New York and North America, Berlin and West Europe, Moscow and East Europe, Shanghai and Far East, Johannesburg and South Africa, Istanbul and the Middle East. Dr. Orhan Irmak and Gökhan Irmak provided some case studies from our portfolio to exemplify the localization projects of global brands in Turkey along with the packaging trends in Turkey and the Middle East..
